You'll notice that I do no have many pictures to document the month of February.  That is because I was about 10 weeks pregnant and very much just trying to get through the day.  My mom came to visit the end of January and we also got to celebrate her birthday (Feb 5th).  She helped with dinner, kids, and cleaning.  And we can't forget her infamous last day when Jett consumed a lot of dark chocolate and I had to take him to the vet.  More of that below.   This was after one of my OB appts.  I went to Jamba Juice because being nauseous all day long sucks and smoothies at least taste good.  You know, treat yo self! If you look closely you can see Jett's head popping out of the blanket.  This was the bed that Mckenzie made for him after he came home from spending the night at the animal hospital.  Isaac accidentally shared dark chocolate with Jett (a lot of it).  I took Jett to the vet while my mom took Lyft to the air...

Anyone in the Christmas spirit yet??  I have a love-hate relationship with Christmas.  Growing up I loved Christmas.  What kid wouldn't love presents, cookies, and money from grandparents.  But now that I'm a parent Christmas is much different.  I feel responsible for making Christmas an amazing holiday for my kids!  First off, it can't be all about the presents.  Gotta teach them the true meaning of Christmas.  But you still have to get them presents....  And presents for everyone else in your life.  I'm beginning to understand why some people become hermits and don't associate with anyone.  I bet you'd save a ton of money! For the last 6 months or so I've been keeping a list of toys/games/clothes/etc on my phone when ever the kids show interest in something.  And I mean true interest (or my list would be longer than the bible).  Which meant that making the kids Christmas list wasn't too hard.  The hard part com...

It's August 26th and the summer is too quickly coming to an end.  Next month is September and then October!  What the heck!  Then we'll be waiting to see if this winter is as bad (meaning freezing and snowy) as last year. Trip to Roaring Springs was awesome!  I love summer. Today my sweet cousin Carrie is getting married at the Newport Beach LDS Temple in California.  I wish we could be there!  Thinking of her today!  It was probably a good decision to not spend money on a family trip this summer since Isaac's tongue tie issue took up a lot of our time and money.  But I still hate missing out on family get togethers. Isaac is pretty much the same.  He has happy moments and very sad moments.  He's tolerating the PT well.  I do mouth, tongue, and lip stretches on him a few times a day.  He's still clicking while nursing and swallowing a lot of air.  I met with a lactation consultant two days ago and she said she'...

On Monday, July 31st, I took Channing, Mckenzie, and Isaac to a physical therapy appointment to help Isaac with his tongue tie.  When Isaac was born the lactation consultant checked Isaac for tongue tie.  He was significantly tongue tied and the pediatrician clipped his frenulum when he was a day old.  Mckenzie was tongue tied as well but we didn't catch it till she was having problems nursing at 6 weeks old.  I was happy that we fixed Isaac's problem before he had problems nursing.  Unfortunately he started making a clicking noise while nursing when he was about 4 weeks old.  Since his tongue was already clipped I tried to be patient and assumed the problem would fix itself over time.  At his 2 month appointment Isaac was still clicking while nursing and he was swallowing a lot of air which makes him uncomfortable and grouchy.  The pediatrician thought his tongue could be clipped a little more, so he did.  I was patient (or sometimes not so ...

You ready for this week review?  I won't be offended if you only look at the pictures.  Most of these details are just for my benefit because I don't want to forget what we've been through in case I have another kid that needs the same surgery.  Let us begin! The day before Mckenzie's surgery she was allowed to eat breakfast and then for the rest of the day she could only have clear liquids.  Below you can see her eating a popsicle.  She was surprisingly happy even though she wasn't allow any food.  Earlier in the week I went to Target and got a few new little toys and activities to help distract her from feeling hungry.  I made Channing eat lunch in his bedroom by himself, which he said he didn't like.  It was a good day of trying to have lots of fun with Mckenzie knowing that the next day was going to be really hard.   Little did we know that we'd have to get through a bad night before Kenzie's surgery day.  I put Kenzie to be...
