Hamilton Happenings

The first thing I want to talk about is baby Hamilton #4!  On April 6th I had my 20 week ultrasound to check on baby Ham.  It was exciting and reassuring to see that little baby kicking around.  All things look good as far as the baby goes.  Growing and developing well.  Baby Ham was measuring about a week ahead.  Which is pretty normal for me at this point.  I went into the ultrasound thinking that this baby was going to be a girl but I'm usually wrong.  And yup, I was wrong! It's a BOY!  It blows my mind to think that we will have three boys.  When did we suddenly become a house of boys!?  Poor Mckenzie really wanted a sister.  But she's been a trooper and seems to be happy.  I told her we'll just have to do a lot of mommy daughter stuff.   I bought each kid a new stuffed animal and wrapped a Hershey's bar.  I colored in the "he" part of hersHEy to show that it was a boy.  I think Mckenz...

You'll notice that I do no have many pictures to document the month of February.  That is because I was about 10 weeks pregnant and very much just trying to get through the day.  My mom came to visit the end of January and we also got to celebrate her birthday (Feb 5th).  She helped with dinner, kids, and cleaning.  And we can't forget her infamous last day when Jett consumed a lot of dark chocolate and I had to take him to the vet.  More of that below.   This was after one of my OB appts.  I went to Jamba Juice because being nauseous all day long sucks and smoothies at least taste good.  You know, treat yo self! If you look closely you can see Jett's head popping out of the blanket.  This was the bed that Mckenzie made for him after he came home from spending the night at the animal hospital.  Isaac accidentally shared dark chocolate with Jett (a lot of it).  I took Jett to the vet while my mom took Lyft to the air...

Happy New Year!  It's amazing to think that we are in the year 2020.   First day of January we headed to the mountains to do some sledding.  Funny story.  We were half way to the mountain, a little over an hour from our house, and we realized that we forgot the sleds!  Luckily an Albertson's close by had sleds to buy. Channing went super high up and would fly down the hill. Nausea has hit at full force and Channing lovingly makes me toast.  Ouch!!  Isaac bumped his head on the coffee table.  Luckily he's a pretty tough kid. Nap time is better half naked right? Mckenzie made her own bed on the floor one night. Isaac got a hold of Justin's facial hair trimmer and gave himself a hair cut. Christmas time! In the beginning of December Jeff, Cortney, and their kids came to visit along with mom and dad.  We did an early Christmas with them.   Julia took pics of everyone.  That's always a bit chaotic.  But we got good pics in the end. On the first day of December it snowed! Papa built airplane models with the kids. Isaac loved holding Owen. Making Christmas chocolate bark. Early present time. Breakfast at Express Cafe. Add caption Isaac's first time trying egg-nog.  I think he liked it. This was mine and Justin's 9th wedding anniversary.  We ate at the Kona Grill.  We split a sushi roll and macadamia nut chicken.  Then for dessert we shared a cinnamon roll.  Then we went to see a movie.  Loved it all!  Also this was the night that I told Justin that we were expecting another baby!  He was super surprised!
