This past Sunday Mckenzie had her baby blessing. It was a great weekend because the Hamilton's and my mom came to visit. On Saturday we went to an activity called Touch a Truck. Is was next to the BSU stadium and the parking lot was filled with all sorts of trucks. The kids got to sit in the trucks, honk horns, and got lots of free things like stickers and fireman hats. The kids loved it! Then we all went to Chick fil-a for lunch! Yum!
Sunday was the blessing day. Mckenzie looked adorable in her white dress. I even made her a headband to match and perfectly fit her (large) head. ;) Things I remember from Justin's blessing was that Mckenzie would serve a full-time mission, get married in the temple, have a family, and always have a sweet spirit. After church that day we had everyone over for a yummy brat dinner with pasta salad, spinach salad, and brownie sundays for dessert.

On the Hamilton's last day in town we all went bowling at Meridian Lanes. Channing loved it! They even had cute little bowling shoes for him to wear. He came in second place! Possibly due to the bumpers.... :)
After bowling we walked around the mall. I may or may not have indulged in a huge cinnamon roll.
Mckenzie is now 2 months old. As of today she weighs 13 lbs 3 oz. She sleeps good and overall is a mellow, sweet baby. Some things we're working on with her is getting her to look more to the left. She has a tightening on the right side of her neck which makes her only want to look to the right. This has made the back of her head flatter on the right side. Next week we are taking her to physical therapy to work on her torticollis. In other news, she developed a "click" while nursing. When she was a few weeks old I noticed she was make a clicking noise while breastfeeding. This was indicating that she was loosing suction. After getting some advice from my mom that she might be tongue tied I took Mckenzie to a lactation consultant yesterday who confirmed she is tongue tied. This morning Mckenzie had an appointment with the pediatrician who gave me some advice on how to stop the clicking (by giving chin support) and he also performed a frenectomy. Since then I think her breastfeeding has improved. She still clicks every so often but I think it's much better than before.
